Greetings Word Up family and friends,
We trust you are well and standing on all God’s promises that are, “Yes and Amen!”
2 Cor. 1:20.
Just checking in to see how everyone is doing.
This temporary new normal has a way of making us feel the distance more than usual. The uncertainty and ever changing state of affairs due to COVID-19 presents numerous challenges for all of us personally and professionally. I sincerely hope everyone is hanging in there. However if you need moral support, do not hesitate to reach out.
Try not to overload on the 24/7 news, balance is important. Take time out for prayer, meditation, exercise and things that bring you joy!
While we love our families, being together all day every day in close quarters can be quite an adjustment. Try to get some time for yourself in for your own sanity.
If you feel sad, frightened, anxious or simply unsettled in any way, seek help. There are great resources available. Free confidential support is available with NJ Mental Health Cares hotline from 8am-8pm everyday: 1-866-202-HELP (4357). Also NYC has mental health professionals available at 1-844-863-9314. Pennsylvania's Health & Human Services HR Delivery Center's phone is 1-717-787-5618. For nationwide 2-1-1 is a free referral and information helpline that connects people to a wide range of health and human services, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. To contact 2-1-1 in any state, simply dial the numbers 2-1-1 from any phone or go to http://www.211.org/
Thanks everyone for your continued faithfulness in staying connected with each other, staying connected and for your continued prayer and financial support to Word Up Ministries.
I can’t wait to gather again as a church family to worship and pray together. Remember we may be socially distant but remain spiritually connected. Until then, we’re grateful for streaming! Join me on Sunday mornings at 10:00 am.
Blessings,
Pastor Patty James
